Acer 40th Anniversary

For Acer’s 40th anniversary, there was as much to celebrate as there was to anticipate for the future. With a clearer sense of its brand identity, Acer was poised to continue its trajectory of breaking barriers between people and technology. Leading up to the anniversary, we worked with Acer to help hold a year-long celebration to reflect on the brand’s core values and reengage with its stakeholders and employees around the globe.

Our approach


Given the company’s bright future, our teams felt the anniversary should go beyond celebrating the past. In addition to reflecting on Acer’s rich history, we set out to envision the future possibilities for a curious, progressive, and human technology brand. We interviewed Acer’s founders, partners, and alumni to crystallize the company’s history and values into a brand book that embodies Acer’s spirit. The book was shared with offices across four continents and over 7,000 employees and partners. As part of the year-long celebration, our teams launched Acer’s “growing with you” campaign to emphasize the company’s aspirations for future growth with every member of its community. To turn up the volume and get the party started, we hosted a series of events for employees, partners, and industry leaders that drew over 22,000 participants. The events focused on collaborative discussions and activities to help imagine Acer’s impact in the years to come.
